Profile
Cornelius Erfort is a PhD candidate at the Research Training Group "The Dynamics of Demography, Democratic Processes and Public Policy" (DYNAMICS), jointly organised by the Hertie School and the Department of Social Sciences at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, starting September 2021.
He is mainly interested in comparative politics and quantitative methods. More specifically, he has focused on the political behavior of candidates, representatives and political parties in the face of changing demographics and new technology using quantitative social science methods. Cornelius Erfort completed his pre-doctoral studies at the Humboldt-Universität. He also spent a semester at the CIDE in Mexico City and holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
He has previously worked as a research fellow at the cluster of excellence Contestations of the Liberal Script (SCRIPTS) and as a student assistant for the Chair of Comparative Political Behavior at the Humboldt-Universität. Dissertation Title
