4-year Postdoctoral Researcher Position – Call for Applications

At the Research Group of Comparative Political Behaviour, we currently seek to fill a 

4-year Postdoctoral Researcher Position

starting 1 January 2022.



You will contribute to the project COVIDEU in which we study the impact of COVID-19 on public support for the European Union.

The project is conducted by Heike Klüver in collaboration with Sara Hobolt (LSE), Toni Rodon (Pompeu Fabra), Theresa Kuhn (Amsterdam) and Michał Krawczyk (Warsaw) and it is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation.

You will support the principal investigators with data collection, data analysis and the publication of the results in top international journals.


  • A university degree and a PhD in Political Science

  • International publications

  • Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods (e.g. quantitative text analysis, causal
    inference, survey experiments)

  • Strong command of English and German
