Biographical Information

Anne Busch completed her studies in sociology at the Free University Berlin in July 2007. Her diploma thesis dealt with predictors of the division of domestic work based on partnerships with the German Socio-Economic Panel Study (SOEP). After this, she worked for one year at the German Institute for Economic Research Berlin (DIW), department SOEP, in a project focusing on women in leadership positions (Project leader: PD Dr. Elke Holst). In October 2008 she joined the BGSS as a doctoral student; using quantitative methods, her dissertation topic deals with the gender specific labour market segregation in Germany. Besides this, she continues working in the department SOEP at the DIW Berlin.
